After many job related moves, we chose Walker/Powell for our 14th move when my husband retired and we moved to our ‘forever’ home. Having experienced moves with several other moving companies, we both have found the Walker/Powell moves almost a pleasure (as much as moving can be a pleasure!). For our last move we were fortunate to have Gene as our driver. Gene’s crew was friendly efficient and easy to work with. There were complications with how the furniture had to be loaded to accommodate our offload plan and they were excellent about labelling and organizing the load so that the offload was quick and easy at the destination. Thanks Walker/Powell for being a helpful part of my husband’s career and a happy part of our family story!
